Sheffcare is a critical charity, serving the needs of more than 1000 older people across the city of Sheffield. It is no secret that society has very little money to pay for social care for the elderly and Sheffield City Council, in particular, pays less for these services than any other council in South Yorkshire. Indeed, it's one of the lowest payers nationally.
We endeavour to provide the very best service we can within tight financial constraints and we rely a great deal upon our superb teams of committed people who provide the care and compassion that money alone can't buy. We are very proud of our people and their achievements; when you visit a Sheffcare home you will see for yourself the quality of our care and our focus on people as individuals - it is fundamental to every thing we do and simply shines out from our staff.
